By accessing or using Collegion ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of Collegion, including students, mentors, and organization administrators.
Collegion is a tutoring and mentorship coordination platform that allows students to request academic help, mentors to offer and schedule sessions, and organizations to manage academic support programs. Features include:
Collegion is intended for college students and academic professionals aged 18 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. Use of Collegion is also subject to any additional eligibility requirements set by your organization.
You must sign in using a valid Google account to use Collegion. You are responsible for:

Collegion offers optional integration with Google Calendar. By connecting your Google account:
Collegion's use of Google Calendar data is limited to creating session-related events and is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Users participating in tutoring sessions agree to:
Organization administrators may impose additional conduct requirements. Repeated no-shows or misconduct may result in restricted access to the platform.
The Collegion platform, including its design, code, and content, is the property of Collegion and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform without written permission.
Content you create within Collegion (such as session descriptions and study group details) remains yours. By posting content, you grant Collegion a limited license to display and use that content to operate the Service.
Your use of Collegion is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
COLLEGION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Collegion does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any tutoring sessions arranged through the platform. We are a coordination tool, not a party to the tutoring relationship itself.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLLEGION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.
Organizations using Collegion are responsible for:
Collegion is not responsible for the policies or conduct of individual organizations using the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Collegion at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of Collegion after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Collegion shall be resolved in the courts located in Virginia.
